For many years I have had a love affair with education. At a young age, I was taken under a wonderful mentor’s wing who led me into the world of a self directed education. After many years of using this method to fuel success in another business I was yearning for a way to help others the way I had been helped. With that, a business was born. Captivated Learning is an answer to a question I’ve heard more times than I can count, “Why don’t they teach this in school?”. Our mission is to equip the coming generations with the skills they will need to thrive in life. We are offering Skillful Living courses to focus on areas that our current education system does not. These courses will cover a wide variety of topics including financial literacy, people skills, time/energy management, natural law, decision making and creating habits. I am beyond excited to launch this company and I am looking forward to working within the community to help better prepare our future leaders.

Our current education system has left Americans highly trained but poorly prepared for real life. We are here to reintroduce the "sage" into our system of education. The current system was great for the Industrial Age but it is time for new shift; a shift toward a more individualized education. Throughout our courses we will implement methods to develop a thoughtful and curious mind in our students. As educators, we are here to whet the appetite of our students and allow them to help teach themselves. After all, "Teaching, like farming and healing, is a cooperative art." - Mortimer J. Adler.
